Pirates Cove

Anyone try any of the pirates cove soaps? I saw the reviews were pretty sparse in number, but the pucks are ~$4 and the reviewers had some positive things to say. Just curious how they compare to conks at the same price or some of the other more expensive soaps

I tried them a good while ago. IIRC, they performed OK and I couldn't stand the scent.

When I first started out with soaps, I got a puck of Pirate's Cove Menthol along with Williams and VDH. I got it for the menthol, and it was a good cold menthol. It isn't Tabac, MWF, or IM, and doesn't claim to be. For a brief period of time, it was my most expensive soap. Then the Tabac arrived, and I moved on to other stuff.
