LBF in the Friday Savinelli tribute pipe this evening.
More of a pre-smoke really. Planning to enjoy a bowl of Great Outdoors in my Dunhill “Holiday” pipe. This quaint is near and dear to my heart, a Christmas gift some years past. A small and endearing pipe marked as a group 4 but really a 3 in stature. A fine companion to celebrate holiday occasions.

Tried some Carter Hall for the 1st time in my Country Gent Cob.
It outdid my expectations. Very enjoyable. Now I see why some people consider this to be a great all day smoke.

It used to be in regular Mac Baren rotation but was discontinued. SP recently had a one off special release of it. A lovely coin of Virginia and Dark Fired Kentucky leaf. I'm sure it'll be available again in the near future as these things tend to circle around.
