pins

I am looking for some bigger nickel silver pins and stainless washers, but can not find any where. I have a 7/8th Wade that I have made some deer antler scales for. With the size of the hole in the tang as well as the beefiness of the scales and blade, I was thinking 3/32 or just a bit bigger would do well.
Second would cold drawn stainless sand and polish easy? I need to find a spacer wedge to tie with the color and feel of the blade.
Thanks.

Some guys use a tube to fill the hole in the tang.

You can usually buy rod, tube, sheet and washers at modelling shops.

As for a spacer, a piece of lead would look good but it is adding extra weight.
You really want to use something that won't rust. Brass, silver, lead, ebony wood, plastic, are some proven performers. Also you need to think of the weight it will add to the end of the scales which will effect the balance. They used to put lead in the very thin scales.
