Pinaud Lime Sec

What is the meaning of "Sec" in the title of this aftershave?

Also, how is "Pinaud" pronounced? I pronounce it as Pin-Odd-

What do you think?

lime sec relates to 'dry' rather than 'sweet'.

Lime Sec is good stuff but is very fleeting on my skin. As for the pronunciation of Pinaud I found this old thread Pronunciation of "Pinaud"

Sec is dry in French. Pea-no is how you pronounce Pinaud in French as well.

It's great stuff, think I add a few drops of glycerin to mine.

Also a good component when concocting your own aftershave blends.

My favorite lime only aftershave! Goes great with any edt's that have a lime or heavy citrus top note. It does burn off, but it lasts longer than most citrus on me.

Goes on as very "fresh" lime scent, like freshly-cut limes.
Not at all like old-fashioned, powdery-perfumey lime colognes.
