I use this stuff practically every day and wish I could find it in a local store.

I always say Special Reserve smells like what I would envision the coals miners in Pennsylvania and West Virginia would wear to Church in the 60s.

Very smoky, leathery and ruggid.

Don't smell leathery at all, at least for me. Maybe a hint of it when almost completely dried. When applied, smell is very similar to the wine with cloves. As it dries down, it become more mellow and sweet with maybe just a hint of smoke.
Reminds me somewhat to Whiskey Woods. Good stuff, much better than Lilac Vegetal and most people will like it.
