Pigment in soap?

Already thinking about Summer and wanting to be well stocked with a natural rose scented soaps. MdC will be on the list for sure. But I saw a product listing for a G F Trumper Rose that looked oddly bright red. In the product ingredients list it had two different dyes listed. Is this normal? What would it do to a boar brush?

I don't believe there will be any ill affect on any natural hair brush, Trumper would have some very angry customers.

Strong colors are quite common in many English creams.
