pif'd razor

I just received this razor from Jake I'm not sure if it's gold plated or the 27/28 brass edition in either case it's a beautiful razor and I can't thank Jake enough for it, my hope is to someday be well enough ahead that I can post a pif of my own.

I shaved with it today using a standard Wilkinson Sword Blade, I found the Razor to be deceptively un-aggressive meaning it shaved closer than my blade feedback or skin glide would indicate. I used my bath and body shop cream and my standard 4 pass shave 3 directional passes and one search and destroy, with out any attempts to go beyond a normal shave I must say it delivered a very comfortable DFS.

Thanks for the update Bob. Glad the razor meets your expectations. You know in spite of the reputation, I have always found the open comb design to be as comfortable and smooth a shaving razor as any closed bar type. And as long as you let the razor doing the cutting, applying as little pressure as possible, the razors will provide a close and nick-free shave.

And thanks again for your dedication to helping those in need! That too is a kind of paying it forward...
