you need to load your brush extra heavy since you are no longer quarantined!
Marty, I just re-read your original post and it sounds like 2018 was a very challenging year for you. I hope things have leveled out for you and your family. Your MdC PIF was very adventurous and generous considering what you were going through at the time. As your current jar of MdC dwindles to nothing I just wanted to say thanks for the entertainment value of your MdC challenge. Your Wee Scot will enjoy a break from daily use!. You have succeeded where many have failed. I will never see the bottom of my MdC jar, but now at least we know how long it takes to empty a jar. Best of luck.ALCON,

Winner gets an unused and unopened full to the top tub of MdC
(I’ll PM the winner with the flavors I have and the choice will be theirs)
Our home was flooded in June
We lost pretty much everything except what was most important:
OUR LIVES
We have lived with a friend and his family since then.
But we can see the light at the end of the tunnel and it no longer appears to be a train.
In November of 2017 my wife was diagnosed with a brain tumor. It was removed in December. It was benign. She was released from her doctor in May and then in June we “lost” our home to a flood.
But we have not lost our family and for that We are truly blessed and I wish to share some of this.
So on December 1, 2018 I will open a full to the top unused jar of MdC and use it exclusively for my shaves. I will load only from the MdC jar and will only use my Wee Scot brush. I work 5-6 days a week and must be clean shaven for work. Although I have skipped days here and there when I work double shifts and sleep late.
You have until I shave on December 1, 2018 to add your guess.
Like the ongoing 3017 PIF just put in your user name and the month, day, and year you think I will have my last shave with this jar of MdC.
I will place an example below.
If possible try to keep your entries in chronological order.
I will review the list periodically and do my best to keep it in order and I have no problem if anyone assists.

Yes. The end of 2017, all of 2018, and now 2020 have all been something. Quite the challenge.
Last week our youngest had an appointment with an allergy specialist in Houston. We were about 45 minutes away from the office when we received a call canceling the appointment because the doctor had a medical emergency. She was at the emergency room with her son. Of course we were very understanding. But we had waited more than 6 months for this appointment and we had just driven 280 miles one way.
Don’t know if I mentioned it here but my best buddy and I were exposed to Covid at work. His wife is our child’s nanny and his family took us in after our home was flooded in 2018.
My wife left work and packed and she and our daughter went to their home and my buddy and I stayed at our place. Our initial tests were negative. His second was positive and mine was negative.
He has been cleared by his doctor but the county health department has not cleared him for work.
And we are taking food and other necessities to both of our families (parents). They live about 100 miles apart so it makes for a long day.
And I know that my wife and I have not argued this much in the entire time we have been together combined.
Things come in 3’s so hopefully this is it!!
3 years is enough.
we are healthy and still have our families and each other.
This too shall pass.
And soon I get to give back a little of what I have been so blessed to have.
My dad’s family were migrant workers. My mom’s coal miners. Both got GED’s in the military. My brother and I graduated high school. He’s retired Army. I am 33+ years LEO. His oldest is finishing up Doctorate Degree in Education. My oldest went to Boarding School in New Hampshire, then NYU. She graduated high school valedictorian and then Summa Cum Laude.
Then Hofstra. Now she says Stanford or Harvard for PHD and MD.
My middle one says she doesn’t want to be a nerd like her big sister. She wanted to stay here for high school and says she is going to Harvard or MIT. Our little one wears a shirt that says Future Harvard Freshman.
I may never retire.
Life is wonderful and awesome and fantastic.
I am gonna be out of pocket for a few days. This one hits very close to home as I worked as an officer there for 10 1/2 years and have family and friends still working there.
