PIF: Diamine Ancient Copper

Greetings,
Up today is http://www.gouletpens.com/Diamine_80ml_Ancient_Copper_Ink_p/d7086.htm except in a not-really-new state. It is probably about 90% full. The ink seems to clog most of my pens, and while it works flawlessly in one of them, that pen isn't used much. I filled the various 78G's I got for people, all of them clogged except one and no matter the amount of cleaning could stop them. As such I figure it can go to another home, as the ink has amazing reviews and is a great color and the general consensus is that it is a very well behaved ink. But as I am who I am, thinks don't work well while in my possession. :) Once out of my reach, the ink should instantly become perfect, so you can look forward to that.

As I am now, finally, out of school my writing has dropped to almost nil. I will be sticking to my other inks until those bottles are empty as I have several nice blacks and a few other colors. So this going to a better place is alright.

I -think- I can get this in a small flat rate box, so this will be a CONUS offering. I'll leave this open until Aug 2, as I get paid and can then ship it out. :) Just let me know if you are in, and I will use a random number site and announce the winner after Friday at 11:59 PM.

Ah, wanted to add: if you do win, please don't just vanish from the forums. Stick around and share experience with the ink, or at least just stick around and be a forum member. This has happened a few times, so all I ask is that you at least consider staying. Doesn't have to be in the Nib, but at least B&B. :whistling:

I'm In!! Thanks.
And Don't be Too Hard on yourself, Sometimes Pens are Finicky.
Have you tried it in a platinum Plaisir?

I have tried it in a my 78Gs (all Fine), my other Pilot (XXF), and my VP (Fine). One of the 78G's worked, but the rest sort of clogged. No big loss, I like the ink, but it wasn't one I could use very often. Most reviews have the ink as a nice flow, so I imagine that no matter what the pen you put it in it will work fine, just so long as it isn't MY pen. :p

nice PIF, great looking Ink Goodluck everyone

Im out for this one, but someone will be very happy with this ink for sure

Not in but nice PIF. I've only used Diamine yellow and found it to be a nice ink but not suitable for writing.

I'll join since I've wanted to try it but haven't gotten around to it yet.

Did you ever try diluting the ink with distilled water?

Diluting is too much of a pain. :) I am more of a "set it and forget it" kind of guy.
And sorry non-CONUS people. :( Rates went up a LOT for shipping international (like, 20 to Canada, and $24 to Netherlands) which costs more than the ink itself by far.

I'll try to do something later to make up for it when I get a chance. ^_^

And yeah, color is awesome, but I can't really use it that much in my writings.

I was the same way for the longest time. Now, I'm beginning to get into a "mad scientist" phase, where I have to mix inks and see what happens.
