PIF: DE Blades, small sample pack

Hello newbies!

I am today offering a small PIF (Pay It Foward) of a set of DE blades. A kind soul here on B&B recently sent me some lapping film samples for my straight razor (Thanks again Rick), so I thought I should build on the good karma and create a small PIF.

I have purchased a lot of Astra blades and I think they are THE blade for me and my various saftey razors.

So, I am giving away a small set of sample DE blades (unused of course) and I will send them anywhere in the world at no charge.

The set includes:

6 Merkur blades
2 Gillette Platinums
3 Derby Extras
4 Japanese Feathers
5 Astra SPs

Rules: this is for newbies only so they can sample some DE blades for their new safety razors. Your B&B join date must not be earlier than Dec 2012.

I have been DE saving for a few weeks now. I wish I started off with a sample pack of razors to begin with. I didn't find this site until after I started wondering if there were others out there that thought wet shaving was the bees knees like I was starting to think. So far I have only used Derby Extras. I ordered a hundred pack of them. They are great blades, but I wou;d love to find out what other blades are like.

Please count me in! I've been using my DE87 for a couple weeks now but only have the Derby extras that it came with. I'd be happy to share my thoughts and experiences with the different blades in a sample pack.

Sorry to the other guys. I don't have more to give away. I have my large supply of Astras and a few feathers left over for myself.

very true. Put Astras on top of your list and you might just save some money. You can get 100 for about 10 dollars on amazon.
