I picked some of this up from Atlanta Barber this week and since it's not talked about much I'll give my few impressions.
First, the lime here is very dry. It actually smells like a real lime. No sweetness to it. After it's on about 15 minutes, I get maybe a hint of added lemon and wood. Not sure.
You could wear this as a cologne or aftershave, but I really think most people today would consider this to be an AS strength. It is long lasting, but with almost zero sillage so someone would have to stand next to you, or hug you to smell it. Even I have to stick my nose close after it dries, but it does last.
Overall, I would say Island Lime was aimed squarely at professional barbers so they could offer (or splash) on their customers a very inoffensive and subtle lime fragrance. For the price, it does not make a bad summer body splash.
Anyone else tried this?
