Picked up an Electric Razor

It's a 13/16 FRIEDMANN & LAUTERJUNG "Electric" Straight Razor.

Described on eBay as having a nice edge but not being shave ready. I don't have the equipment to hone yet but there is a B&B honesmith near me that I'll be reaching out to soon.

I disinfected and stropped it. On the premise that others have suggested testing an edge by shaving a cheek I tried it out. Definitely not shave ready. So as advertised.

I can tell by the feel it's not a hollow either. I think it's going to be a fine shaver.

Yeah. I might have purposefully named the thread something that would trigger the justifiable Wet Shaving Holier-than-thou attitude in all of us. Or perhaps, in the best of us. Heh.
