I live in Samara. This is a city on the banks of the Volga River. And there are many interesting monuments here. I want to show you some monuments to a very famous man. And, although the Soviet Union has not existed for more than 30 years, there are a lot of these monuments in the cities of the former Soviet Union.
The Kuibyshev Monument is a monument to the revolutionary and statesman Valerian Vladimirovich Kuibyshev in Samara (formerly the city of Kuibyshev), installed on Kuibyshev Square opposite the Samara Academic Opera and Ballet Theater. It is one of the symbols of Samara.
