nice! i'd expect this was originally a syrup plant and main office, before bottling began?

It was the whole shebang Syrup, bottling, corp offices. And yeah a dust spot. No matter how much I clean the damn thing I get spots.

Taken while out walking my two Bedlington Terriers, Oscar & Boris Father & Son, above Cilsarnws Golf Club Cefn Coed Merthyr Tydfil South Wales looking north towards Llwyn-Onn reservoir in the Brecon Beacons, I'm blessed to live in the walking country.

wetlands this thursday morning, the wood storks seemed occupied mating and nesting...

also this thursday morning, a couple of the egrets happened to fly in my direction.
and an osprey seemed to have sighted something in one of the ponds.

'cold' front coming through south florida this friday afternoon, from west to east.

cold warning issued for tonight...could get down as far as 41F!!

Trip to Jamaica! Many thx to my father-in-law for staying in our house to take care of the animals. No, I don't mean our kids.

This is the Dumbell nebula or M21.

I took the original image back in Sept. 2021. I stacked in APP and finished it in Photoshop.

I recently took the original unstretched stack from APP and ran it through Pixinsight including using the new Blur XTerminator process. and again finished it in Photoshop. I recropped it as well.

I leave it to the viewer to determine which is better.

1st up is the reprocessed version

Nice image! for what it's worth I like the reprocessed version better. The darker sky with fewer bright stars make the nebula stand out.
