Photo of the Day

back to walking nearby parks this saturday morning.
really nice mix and changing of clouds, colors at sunrise.
here's a contact of a few over the hour timelapse span.
q2 on tripod; confess to using post filtration to boost the colors.
This morning I was out giving a quick shovel from last nights snow fall and out of the corner of my eye I saw some movement and here this Moose trots down the road in our subdivision. The photo is not top notch and only had my cell in my pocket and so better take a few pictures for you all to enjoy.
The moose is kneeling to lick the salt off the road and water, rare to see them in this posture. They like eating people's cedar trees this time of the year.(cedar trees are not native to this area.)

Take some great photos and share! Stay and think safe in these times!
I suspect you don't want to get too much closer to a moose!
You are correct, they can be unpredictable at times. Some times they looked really mangy rough in spring because they are ticked up and drives them kookalo form the little buggers. This one looks healthy.
