Not much more than a snapshot, but a shot of the sea-pool the authorities made 5 years ago.
The engineers in the municipality said it had to be placed to the left of the pier, while the local fishers said it must be placed to the right - the engineers got their will and now the municipality spends around $150,000 a year clearing the pool for sand.
This is a shot of the preparations for the new season; an excavator and three tractors with trailers removing the sand and move it down the beach.

^remarkable job of maintenance and/or restoration!
It is, and it is considered one of the best kept Dutch windmills in Denmark. There is a similar one in the village where I work, and it is just as well kept, and they still mill flour, which they sell to fund the expenses of keeping it in good condition.
