Birds of prey are sensitive to odors. Hang a few cheapo shaving soaps, the kind that smell like, well, the men's room, from the trees. No self respecting vulture will come near.
I've used fragrant soap to keep deer away (moderately effective...). But climbing trees and going onto my roof (the real area of concern for me) to hang shaving soap pucks is a little too much effort!Birds of prey are sensitive to odors. Hang a few cheapo shaving soaps, the kind that smell like, well, the men's room, from the trees. No self respecting vulture will come near.
If I was really good, I could use such a device to immobilize the vulture... sort of like a bolo...Tie a couple soaps together with a short length of cord. Then just fling....
LOL
