Perplexing Parkers

I just received a Canadian Parker 21 Fountain Pen from an eBay auction this afternoon. This is my first P21 and I was surprised to see how close it was to my one-and-only Parker 51!

Here's some side-by-side photos of the the two pens. See if you can guess which is the Parker 51 and which is the Parker 21! (And brian, please sit this one out and let the kids have some fun! )

By the way, the Parker 21 is quite nice, and although I probably paid more for it than I should have (I thought I was getting a P51), I don't have any regrets about adding it to my stash.

i'M GLAD i ONLY PAID $9 FOR MINE!! NIB, old stock. It lasted one year and cracked, leaking ink. Still trying to see if it is worth a fix, probably not.....

Richie's got it...the 21 is the lighter blue pen on the right.

IMO they write remarkably similar as well. I have one that is still unidentified, but I'm assuming it's a 21. Congrats on the pick-up, that is a great color.

The arrow on the cap and the cap clutch on the body is the five away, the their is the size of the hole in the hood when you can see it.
