Perma-5 O'clock shadow check-in

This is just a check-in for those of us ultra-masculine looking, dark-haired heavy beard types who have a permanent beard shadow no matter how close we shave...you know, the likes of Fred Flintstone, Homer Simpson, Jon Hamm, etc.

My friend dubbed me Manbeast while we were in uni on a night out - we had been invited to a party thrown by some lass we met out the previous week - unlucky for us, she had forgotten to mention it was fancy dress. Anyway, we turn up late and un-fancy dressed (but still looking dapper, as you do) and the bouncer on the door says 'Well what the hell are you two dressed as?' My quick thinking amigo wise-cracked with 'Beauty and the Manbeast.'

It stuck ever since.

Checking in. I have a dark heavy beard. A really close shave still shows that dark muzzle ala Fred Flintstone.

Always on my upper lip. I'll be clean every where, but yet there is that moustache shadow. Can't tell you how many times i've went to work in the morning moments after shaving and been asked 'are you growing a moustache.'
