Thanks guys. I have no training on photography and I just looked up the recommended setting for a photo of the moon. What I did was just about what @troy recommended.
It's getting that time of year.
What scary stories can you come up with? Around here it's the bump sounds on the house, the glowing eyes when I shine a flashlight on the pasture, and the howls coming from across the road at night. There used to be some bats that would be under the front porch roof of a morning but haven't seen them in some time. And the dead animals I come across from time to time.
And sometimes, when my wild child Calico cat comes in after being out most of the night, if you even move she just about jumps out of her skin.
I'm going to take the spotlight out in a bit and shine it around the pasture. I do have some old Silvertip duty bullets left.
