Pens Blenheim Bouquet Cream vs Arko Stick

Won a sample of Penhaligons BB soap from Garry's sample shop and can only compare it to either Arko or Tabac as thats all I have to use at present (and Proraso green).
Please remember these are just my thoughts I am too new to know much if anything about such matters but my comments might be of use to other noobs.
Firstly I absolutely loved the fragrance, especially being so different to my other 3. I bowl lathered and really didn't need a lot of product to produce a great looking plentiful lather.
I have used it 3 times now and try and keep prep as close to the same as possible. Twice I used a 2 pass and yesterday a 3 pass with my trusty Super Speed and Gillette 7 o'clock permasharps. The negative was I just had a different level of dragging through my jaw line and just above than usual.
Not sure if dragging is the correct word either, it was just noticeably more difficult to shave this area ATG than normal.
I have been enjoying the Gillette 7 O'clocks since reading a few comments here on them and for me they have the sharpness needed for my growth without to raw feeling of the Feathers (maybe I am not getting quite so close) Anyway I won't be changing to Pen's but enjoyed the change in fragrance immensely.

Good to hear that you were able to lather the Pen's soap. I have had poor experiences with their reformulated product, but I do have a puck of BB in the cabinet which was purchased at a Penhaligon's store in London. I believe that it is a later reformulation and I hope to try it next year when I am finished with my Harris project. It is certainly a wonderful scent!

EDIT: To make sure that we are on the same page here..... you mentioned Pen's Shaving Cream in your thread title and then soap in your post. I assume that you are talking about the shave soap?!
