Penhaligon's English Fern or Trumper's Wild Fern?

I liked the spiciness of Wild Fern, but it came across a bit feminine to me, something I would only where on special occasion and not as an office frag. On the other hand I find English Fern to be something I can wear anytime and it lasts all day on my skin. Wild Fern goes for $50-$60/50ml while English Fern goes for around $80/50ml

I've never tried English Fern, but there's something about Wild Fern that makes it un-bottle-worthy to me. I seem to recall picking up almost a minty note in there that I didn't care for. I've crossed Wild Fern off of my list after having a sample of it.

I agree with the consensus that English Fern is the better fragrance on all counts.
They are very similar on application with Wild Fern having a bit more warm spiciness and English Fern being a bit sharper. I prefer the sharp edge of EF. As they dry down, EF opens a bigger lead for me. I don't get much longevity out of WF - it's gone in 3-4 hours. EF lasts all day.

No, the AS is not as strong as the cologne (half at best). It is the same scent, however.
Ive tried both and definitely EF. WF is ok if you cant afford the Pens.
I prefer the smell of Trumper's, but the longevity is definitely very lacking compared to Penhaligon's.
I have both and prefer the Pen's.
