Penhaligon's English Fern or Trumper's Wild Fern?

How do these two scents compare? Which one is stronger? Which one lasts longer? Which one is the best value for the money?

I liked the spiciness of Wild Fern, but it came across a bit feminine to me, something I would only where on special occasion and not as an office frag. On the other hand I find English Fern to be something I can wear anytime and it lasts all day on my skin. Wild Fern goes for $50-$60/50ml while English Fern goes for around $80/50ml

I've never tried English Fern, but there's something about Wild Fern that makes it un-bottle-worthy to me. I seem to recall picking up almost a minty note in there that I didn't care for. I've crossed Wild Fern off of my list after having a sample of it.

They are very similar on application with Wild Fern having a bit more warm spiciness and English Fern being a bit sharper. I prefer the sharp edge of EF. As they dry down, EF opens a bigger lead for me. I don't get much longevity out of WF - it's gone in 3-4 hours. EF lasts all day.

EF for me, not even close.

Does anyone know if the aftershave (comes in 100ml at the same price of 50ml cologne) is as strong as the EdT?
