Penhaligon's Endymion?

Does anyone know where to buy Penhaligon's Endymion for less than the $40 list price? I have tried a google search, and found a web site (perfumenetwork.com) that lists it for $20, but it is out of stock. I would really like to try it, but $40 seems a bit steep. Is it worth the retail price? Anything else that you like better?

I don't know about finding it on discount, but it is a nice cream. The price is on par with offerings from Floris and other fine makers. Vintage Blades LLC sells Pen - not sure what the current price is.

+1 - if you like the Endymion scent, this is a true luxury product. The lather quality is not the out and out best ever, but the aroma is one of the best in any cream IMO. Unfortunately, it does not come cheaply. At $20 for 150g I think there would be a lot of buyers.

What are your favorite Penhaligon's scents, other than the Endymion? As far as quality, do you prefer Floris? Are you paying the premium for the scent, the quality of the cream, or both? There are so many good creams out there with scents that I like (the three T's, Proraso, Nancy boy), unless Penhaligon brings a better quality cream to the table, it's not worth the price.

I emailed perfumenetwork.com. They responded very quickly, and indicated they no longer carry it. It looks like it was a one-time deal. The search continues.

Floris JF is my favorite cream. It is worth the price to me. The smell, consistancy, and the quality of the lather are excellent.

I have had Floris 89 and did not care for it. I sold the remaining portions of the cream and aftershave balm.

Penhaligons Endymion is also very nice, though I have only tried a sample. It is on my list for purchase in the next month or so. A very nice scent.

Penhaligons Blenheim Bouquet is a cream I enjoy. Not everyone enjoys the scent, but it has a rustic manly charm that I like.

I have yet to get my hands on Irish Moos to try, but one day.

I got a sampler from our member, Handy, and tried the Endymion, BB, Opus 1870 and Castile creams.

As far as scents, I would rank them Opus 1870>Castile>Endymion/BB. They are all very close but I like the Opus and Castile better than Endymion and BB.

Latherability is great! Not the slickest lather ever, but plenty of cushion and fantastic aroma.

I just orderd a tube of Opus 1870 from Vintageblades. Not cheap at $40/ 150ml, but it is damn fine cream.

I received today 6 samples of several Pen's creams.
I opened randomly one to sniff it and it happened to be the Endymion's. Wow, what a scent! Cant' wait to try it this evening.
But too bad they're so expensive.
