Penhaligon's Blenheim Bouquet and a Bloody Foot

I've heard of a shaving cream causing blood on one's face while shaving. But a bloody foot? I just went to open a jar of Penhaligon's Blenheim(one of my faves), which if you don't know comes in a glass jar. After opening the jar a large chunk of glass brakes off the edge and falls to the floor, cutting the top of my left foot. No stitches required, but it is nothing to sneeze at either. There are fragments of glass in the cream so that needs to be discarded. And my foot is bleeding. I will write them a letter and see what they say. But this is a first for me.

Bummer. I wonder if they'll send you a new jar. COme to think of it... maybe the same problem happend to me, and they'll send me a new jar, too! :w00t:

Sorry that happened.

If they send you a new jar, make sure you don't have to "foot" the bill.

Sorry that joke happened, too.

Just for the record I sent Penhaligons an email and heard no response. It was resent a week ago and still nothing. That is surprising to me. I will likely mail them a letter this time.

Yo

This is one of my favorites creams. Such a classy affair. I love the heavy metallic lid and glass container. Sorry to hear it cut up for your foot. Love hurts.
