pelikan m800 - vs m1000

Any users who have both? what is your opinion for both?
Currently I am using Dunhill 2000 on an occasional basis but my main workhorse is pilot vanishing point - medium and broad.
I have omas paragon fine (scratchy), MB 149 medium (just a little on the big side), waterman phileas medium (just a little small), MB 146 medium (good size) and a couple of others.

Can it be used on a daily basis with comfort?

What is the size difference between the two ? Any in my collection would come close to it in size and function?

Compare your Mb 149 to the Pelikan M 1000, the MB 146 to the M 800. I like my Pelikan 800's for daily users over everything else, although a few others do get thrown into the mix at times, mostly some Pelikan 400's with flex nibs.

If your 149 is on the big side, so probably is the M1000.
I have both, I like both also.

That said, I think that the M1000 feels a bit more compact and manoeuvrable and thus is a tad more suited for daily use.

The M800 on the other hand is the safe choice, I am pretty sure that based on your Mont Blancs you will like it.

The M1000 is generally only used for signing declarations of war.
