Peening pins

I'm about to transition from microfasteners to proper pins.

Is it worth getting a peening block? I'm only going to be doing a few (for now) rather than mass production.

If there's a cheaper, more Heath-Robinson, solution I'm open to suggestions.

You can use the side of a regular hammer as your anvil for now. Works great.

Thanks for that....just tried mounting a large hammer in my work-bench, works perfectly
