This turned into a disaster. Followed the recipe and cooked slow at 225F for 6hrs. Ended up with an inedible piece of meat, it was so dry. I truly hate wasting food, especially meat.Made this yesterday and ate it today . So easy and oh so tasty

The pack leaked and that could have been the issue but for the most part of the 6hrs the pack was almost bursting.
I believe the recipe is wrong.
I just noticed that the recipe does not call for soaking the salt out. Why not?
