I’ve had three or four razors honed on naturals and jnat finishes by a guy deep into that method and very experienced and find little if any difference in one honed well on 1u film. You mentioned in a recent post to shave with a 1u finish before proceeding to pasted balsa and I did. Now I can’t seem to stop using that razor or progressing further. I’ve been using pasted balsa progression for almost two years but it seems like my film progression has improved greatly over time. .
