I just used my parker variant today (I get amazing results with the variant), and I was wondering is it trying to be similar to the barbasol floating head razor (besides it being a adjustable). Since I don't own a floating head I am not sure what it feels like. Can someone who has both razors compare?

The Barbasol has considerably more exposure. It's extremely efficient.

The main similarity is the two handles are roughly the same size; otherwise, it's like comparing an apple with an orange that's the same size.
