parker OX horn lathering bowl

Has anybody use this one? For me i am considering about phrchase this bowl, however i found some complaint on amazon that is the bowl tend to crack after several of use.

Horn, whether ox, cow or bison, is made of keratin - just like fingernails. It can dry out, flake and crack over time. Little weevil larvae can bore into it and cause pits and further damage (common with older powder horns).

I wouldn't consider it among best or most permanent materials to build a shaving bowl with.
