I won this Panter De Luxe Razor on ebay. The description listed it as made by A. Feist & Co., Solingen, Germany out of Kayser and Ellison Co. Sheffield Steel. If you look real close that is exactly what it says on the tang.
Excuse the ignorance, but I have always known Solingen and Sheffield as the two classic places for good razor steel. Is this steel made in Sheffield, England and smithed by a Solingen maker? It looks like a good razor. Also, don't the scales seem to be dark, but a clear acrylic?
