PannaCrema Shaving Soap Users

Top of the day fellow Panna Crema shaving enthusiasts! Well there are a whole new bunch of us and some veterans, that have just received that marvelous package from Rome with our dearly beloved soap within .So I thought I'd start a thread for lovers of dis fat to give their reviews impressions and thoughts about this marvelous soap.So jump on in and let us know.

I luv it! Slick beyond belief, protective great scent, leaves my skin feelin' oh so nice. Easy to lather, easy brush clean up too! I like Crystal and Feather blades. Wanna tame the beast? This do be the fat that does it for me. enjoy your lathering !

I've said a lot in other posts already, it is an elite soap, Lathering, protection, the thickness/density is unparalled (but equalled by a few soaps). There are some just as good but hardly any that are better. It lathers extremely well with little water or with a lot of water, a very large hydration curve to it that even the best soaps do not have. The scents are unique and I am looking forward to some others as the two I received were not bad but not what I prefer. The downfall is they never have any stock, very hit and miss. You could re-package this stuff in a fancy bowl say its the best, charge $60.00 and that would be hard to argue against.

I find it similar to Stroppe Shope special edition with tallow. If have used that you are really close to the Panna experience, Rich thick yogurt cream. Panna is a lot easier to get a lather than Stroppe which is not hard but you need to adjust water a bit more with the SS or your brush will kind of glue shut. I think ADP and Tabac offer equally good protective shaves but the panna is thicker and a tad more luxurious to smear on your face.

I would love to try it, but as stated above, they always seem to be "out of stock". I am very leary of scents, because they never seem to be what is described on a website, so I stick to standard "reliable" scents when trying something new. I.E. sandlewood, bay rum, pepermint, etc... When they have a reliable scent in stock, I will probably give them a try. Just what I need, another soap, my wife thinks I'm nuts. LOL

This is truly is an amazing product. I will be loading up the next round with my 50% off discount. The scents might be hit or miss. My first 2 Fumo Di Londra and Namaste were both winners. Namaste is just an amazing lemongrass scent wonderful for summer time and the Fumo is a nice woodsy scent. Both are mild due to being in the tallow base I assume. Not as in your face as the glycerine soaps out there but both very pleasant. I have tried tons of products and this is the first to really blow me away. Yes there are many other amazing top notch soaps out there but this does seem to edge them all out. The only other product I have ever praised this much was the Indian Bio Palmyra. Both will be in my stable for as long I can obtain them.

Anyone having problems getting them just order them immediately after they go on sale. As I mentioned before this guy seems to be making soaps as a hobby and not worried about keeping up with demand. So get them while you can:)

I have been using the Namaste the last few days. This is by far the best soap I have used.I always face lather and this stuff is easy to lather to a yogurt consistency.

i have just received a couple tins of Mikes Natural Soaps and they are very similar to the Panna Crema.

Welcome! Mikes soap is in my top 3. The Hungarian Lavender, wow! I hope to score some of the PC Lavandotto next time. Enjoy!

Hi and Welcome!--It's like being on Jeopardy and how quick one hits the buzzer! lolol. That's the way with artisan soaps. Folks like you and me with a passion for their hobby. Ah, then life intervenes. Anyway keep trying "cause it's worth it! I did. Enjoy!

Mike's is really close too, the density is almost Panna, very close but a bit more work than Panna to get the lather the same, many more scent options and stock.

Interesting thing Panna taught me is that I prefer scent over performance. Many soaps are perhaps a bit less than panna but still very good and the scent wins out with me. When I get to try some better Panna scents that work for me I can see locking in with this soap and hoarding some if the scent is a winner.

Just a note to say thanks for the input all! Gonna be my 5th shave with it. Each gets better than previous. My Gillette OC's are lovin' it! My Aristocrats too! Enjoy your week !

I'll have to invest in a bar of this soap, it sounds really inviting just a matter of catching some stock in. How do you catch them in stock? Write them and reserve or just keep on checking? :)

Hi!,
Best to go to the site and create an account. I watch the news everyday . After that be there and ready to go and don't mind a substitute because whatever scent it's the same soap. Sometimes it shows up in the b/s/t thread but goes just as fast. Enjoy!

So after 1 week and having tried it wit my Gillette old style oc, new oc Aristocrat and Gold Tech and Slim adj.with either a Feather or Crystal blade, and with a Super badger, a finest and a super silvertip I can say that I've found my sweet spot for my little island of shaving pleasure and success. Thank you Mr. Dentini! and thanks to the members here at B&B for all your great reviews.
I wish that there was a matching edc or edt . :001_tt1: The Namaste scent tickles my olfactory fancy.
Enjoy!!

I've been loving the Crema too! Got all four early last week, so far I've just been using the Nostalgia. I've ordered some small plastic containers, so will be trying out the other scents soon. I think the Namaste will be next.

Excellent product, with 4 I should be good for a good while. :)

I tried the Namaste yesterday, and really like the scent.

Today I used the San Francesco, and while it is good, I like Namaste better. Sunday will be the Fumo Di Logo. :)

Top of the day Cricket1!--Glad you're diggin' PC.Also a belated welcome to B&B.

Another thing I've noticed is that my brush clean up is easier with PC,Less rinsing. I just wish there was an edt to splash on, even though the scent lingers(lightly) for a while after shaving, it's not enough!! Luvin' this soap. I like the cushion, the glide. Dang, guess I'm hooked . Enjoy your lathering!

High praise! Strop Shoppe tallow soaps are rapidly becoming my favorite soaps, and this makes me want to get my hands on some Panna Crema some day, if they ever have any available.

Well I'm gonna have to get some SS Tallow. I've been reading good things about it. Enjoy!

Top of the day PC users! Well after almost a month with this great shaving soap, I've got nothing but praise for it.Why is this so big for me? Here goes. I have Psoriasis and Psoriatic Arthritis(which is why I can't hold or use a straight anymore) so what I put on my skin is important to me. Water can sometimes feel like acid and most mass produced soap is anathema($5) to my skin. So this soap leaves my face not just feeling good, but I've hardly used any of the topical steroids I would normally use after shaving. btw they cause thinning of the skin. So the less I use the better my skin and the few weepers I got a few months ago don't happen anymore.
So aside from the remarkably wondrous lather it produces ,I've received another benefit. So a big thank you to Mr. D for making this great shaving soap. Enjoy!
