Palmolive Stick

Is this form of palmolive soft enough to press into a tin? Or is it a soap that would need to be shredded into one?

I have managed to push it into an EJ mug which wasn't difficult at all. Just used my bare hands.

It's firmer than Arko (which is quite plastic and dead easy to press) but I still managed to push it into a tub. Judicious use of a meat mallet covered in cling wrap helped...

Gratting it would be your best bet.

Try to use it as it was intended. Let the top 1/4" soak along with the brush in the sink. Then run the top over your whiskers, lather on your face, and shave away.

Last night I ordered a dozen from the UK, to accompany my dozen Arko sticks. Stocking up for the Shavepocalypse.

I used a Palmolive stick for the first time tonight. I really enjoyed it, a nice thick lather without even trying and a close, comfortable shave. If only it had a more pleasant scent it might see a bit more action. Not that it smells bad, far from it, it just smells a bit soapy

Does anyone know if there is a difference between the Palmolive sticks that come in the white box and green box?

Just gratted two sticks into my ss shave bowl put some plastic wrap over the bottom of my aos preshave oil, pressed it tight.. any one else notice how much this smells like skin bracer... minus the alcohol smell. I have to think of it that way, otherwise it smells like edge gel. Hate that smell, all its good for is shaving cream fights...
