I'm just learning about the Pal injecto-matic also, I believe that is a British made razor model you have and was built in the mid 1950's+ when the Schick Patent expired.. The British version from what I have read are excellent and might be a little better shave than the American version. I just bought a American White handle one and have not received it yet, I like my Schicks and have heard positive results about the Pal injecto-matic, they also have a adjustable version and it does not accept twin blades like the Schick M series but it is liked by some and some prefer the Schick.
Have some great shaves!
Finally received my Pal injecto-matic and it shaves very good. Mine came with a small brochure that might help you.
This model was available to the public in Dec 1952 and according to brochure they spent approx over $1,000,000(todays dollars $9.5 million) design and tooling up to give us this beautiful injector razor.
I had to do a test drive of my virgin Pal injecto-matic 1952> razor and the razor is solidly built, easy to find the sweet spot for angle and will not disappoint a person with reasonable hand technique. I used a Schick blade (1) combined that others have suggested and received a excellent shave. My Schick Proline blades I have not received yet and wanted to test them in this one. Just a great razor in the hand also.
