PAA Star Jelly (CaD)

Hi folks.

I've been interested in the CaD star jelly from PAA. Does anyone here have experience with this product? Or any star jelly in general.

What I'm mainly interested in is the scent strength. I'm not necessarily looking for something that'll be smelled on me all day. More like something I'm still catching nice whiffs of an hour or two after application. A lot of splashes tend to give me "noseblindness" and I'll stop being able to smell them half an hour after using some. If I use only a little I can still smell it for a while, but that's not really what I'd want out of a post-shave product.

Again, any experience with a star jelly is helpful.

Star Jelly is nice the scent will last a while and you'll get a nice post shave feel. The scent from Star Jelly doesn't last as long as PAA aftershave scent longevity, it's less.

I have Star Jelly in “Fresco” sent and like it very much. More conditioning than a typical splash and lighter than a balm. I’d say it performs similarly to Afta, but with nicer ingredients. The scent sticks around nicely for a few hours, long enough that I don’t wear any other fragrance when I use it. I agree that the PAA aftershave splashes last longer, though.

I am told that PAA Fresco is similar to Old Spice Fresh Scent. Does anyone know if this is true? I never tried OS Fresh Scent and have no idea. Either way, I do like it, used the AS for the first time today. Using a health dose most of it wore off in 4 hours but there is still some scent left.

Been looking into Fresco, it's a scent I really want to try. From what I've heard, it's an exact match to the original OS Fresh Scent.

I have the Star Jelly in Fresco scent. I can't say whether or not it's an exact match for Old Spice Fresh as I have not used that since the 90's when I was in high school, but it's very close to my memory of it.

Old thread but love my Star Jelly. Some are better than others scent wise. They market Meta Nectaras something fabulous, but it has the strangest smell of all of them. Hyper mid 20tth century ladies soap smell. My favorite is Dapper Doc's. also Frost Byte i always get rhe mentholated version of any one.

Seems like you have a number of these; how much do you need to use each time, is it a small amount or a large pump?

One pump is about 1/2 teaspoon. A bottle could last several months. For me the slight bit of alcohol is perfect and offset by the soothing balm texture. If you like a eucalyptus menthol experience, Frost Byte is awesome.

No. It's more like a medium body balm
