P.160 question

I finally got to try this (Tipo Morbido), and I like it! It was a surprise sample with some other things I ordered, which made it even better.

I know they don't make it any more, but I was wondering if there were any differences between the Morbido and Duro other than the consistency?

Ingredients are identical but the proportions are different. Duro is a little bit harder consistency; duro is a like a block of butter in the fridge, morbido is like cream cheese at room temperature.

Enjoy it while you still can. It has been discontinued, so you won't be able to get it pretty soon. One of the vendor's on this site recently received a shipment of 1Kg bars, so you may want to check out the Vendor's Corner and order some.

I ordered some from Bullgoose, since he offered 100g containers. He may still have some. I love it, and may have to order more, just to stock up!

I have both P-160's and both perform well. If I had to, I would say I prefer the morbido as I find it lathers slightly easier, especially if I'm in a hurry. The smell of both, to me, is just out of this world.

David, you are the first English man I've met that seems more devoted to Italian soaps rather than UK soaps. Trumpers, Harris, T&H, etc. have a so great tradition... Could you explain why you feel so "Italian"?

I hate to say it Marco, but it's true. I only started DE shaving at the beginning of this year, but having tried the offerings from the UK, which I cannot knock, I just love the quality of the lather that Cella, P-160, and Valobra provide. The moisturising properties of all far exceed anything else I have used. I am coming to grips with MWF after 4 weeks but that has been a battle to say the least. I just love the smell of almond and marzipan and have added Acca Kappa shaving cream to my rotation too. Used this morning and it's pure heaven! And the icing on the cake is the cost. Italian soaps cannot be beaten for what they provide in pure shaving pleasure.
