R. Grizzle's Georgia Snap 2 in Horsehide is a legit choice for a 1911.
Sam Andrews Saddle Holster is another viable option. Shown here for a Glock 26

Grizzle and Andrews put out some beautiful leather. I don't know how the EPS one you got made it out the door...I wouldn't have accepted it. They do way better than that.

In all fairness to EPS, they quickly offered a replacement, but I figured why? Must say it is distinctive bit of goods. Fit is great and retention is top flight. Surely a nice Southwestern look.
But.
Ryan Grizzle just got his mold gun for the King Cobra last week. We shall see.
