We are Happy to announce that the 11th Annual 'Saint' Sue Moore Memorial Fundraiser begins October 19th and runs for 3 days.

If you are not familiar with the 'Saint' Sue Moore Auction, it is a fundraiser we do every year to benefit the National Breast Cancer Foundation.

We do this in honor of our dear friend Sue Moore, Sue was a founding member and the proprietor of Saint Charles Shave.
She passed away due to breast cancer. This auction is our way to honor her memory and help fight this terrible disease.

We can not pull this off alone. We rely on our generous membership to donate items to be auctioned.
The amount we raise is dependent on YOUR
donated items for the auction and lively bidding on these items.

If you find it in your hearts to donate anything for auction please use this form: CLICK HERE

If you have multiple items to donate for separate auction threads please submit a new form for each item.

Also please note we kindly ask that any software (aftershave, soaps, creams, etc.) be in new, unopened condition.

Remember that B&B does not handle any money, your winning bids and monetary donations are paid directly to the NBCF

Thank you to everyone who has donated to past auctions and thanks for helping to make this year the biggest yet!

If you have any questions or comments please post them here.

Woohooooo!

🤔 You've got stuff that didn't work out for you. Too mild. Too harsh. Scent reminds you of grandma's purse (sorry, Tabac!)

Consider donating to the auction... It could be a perfect shave for another!

Guys, What USED shaving gear is appropriate?

Obviously not soap, but what about quality (and cleaned) brushes and razors? Partial 100 packs or a bunch of hard to find tucks of blades?

Just curious and I recall this being asked last year, and I can’t find the answer for the life of me…

I think any used shaving gear is acceptable, including soap, especially if it is vintage or hard to find. Folks will either bid on it or they will not; I have no problem with buying used vintage soaps. I have bought many used brushes, and all my vintage razors were purchased used. I much prefer to clean brushes and razors myself; in fact I am likely to pay more for an item that has not been cleaned by the seller. Others may well think differently. 👍

I’m with ya, but per the OP….

Hardware is ok in most cases. Brushes that have been cleaned are ok. Software and aftershaves has to be new and or unused condition. Thanks for asking. As an aside, if we discuss it on B&B, it can most likely be donated, sake alcohol, tobacco, firearms, and ammo.

Edit: I've learned tobacco is ok to donate. The items will be set up for bid in the Brown Leaf at auction time. Woot!
