Osborn & Sons Seven Day Set

It is a beautiful set I was also looking at it. But didn't buy it I bought this set of Joseph Rodgers and sons in stead. I believe that these were made from 1838 to 1840. I think they are 1/4 grind they shave alot better than my hollow grinds I bought them on ebay also. I don't think the seller knew what they had they listed them as Wedgwood and sons.

Another lovely M7DS. Congratulations and welcome to the fraternity.

The seller probably thought that it was the case that had value and those stupid razor things were just accessories.

I showed your seven day find to my far better half. She said it was lucky for me you bought them before I saw them. Well Done!

Lucky for you and luck for me! Everyone gets well on the deal!

Yeah but that set had the well cut, evenly space jimps with rounded edges. That care says the blades were extremely well made by a master craftsman.

Guess I'll keep looking.

Bob,

I was thinking the EXACT same thing once I saw what actually arrived! They are fun to hone, and a pleasure to shave with that’s for sure!

I only have Sat, Sun, and Mon done thus far...perhaps I will knock another one out for next Friday. We’ll see.
