Akubra makes nice hats and their Indy models are quite well done. I have one in grey and one in brown and I'm very happy with them.

Update on the hat saga. I finally recieved the correct hat. 3rd time was a charm? I will try to add a few pics indoors and in natural sunlight. Overall the hat feels and looks ok. It is stiff-ish but not as bad as the wool version which had no give at all. There doesn't seem to be much of a grain pattern to the fur in that it doesn't lay in any direction or even seem long enough to do so. I'm okay with that, it's my first fedora and I'm reasonably satisfied with it as is. The hat is not heavy and it fits well. It is made by Dorfman Pacific which the vendor doesn't seem to advertise for some reason. All in all I think it is a fair entry level fedora but may not meet the standards of a more experienced quality fedora hat wearer.

Ha, I look back and can't believe I felt so entitled that I would actually get what I ordered on the first or second attempt. I am forever changed.Ask a Moderator to change the thread title.
