Ordered custom dress shirts on Modern Tailor today

I have been cruising modern tailor for a few days and I decided to pull the trigger on a few made to order dress shirts. Nothing fancy, just two white dress shirts with MOP buttons. They say you need to take a few trial shirts to get your measurements perfect, so I figured I would start simple.

Not sure if any one here has tried them, but we shall see how they turn out in a few days.

I'm curious to hear the review as well. I've seen several websites like Modern Tailor but have never purchased anything from them or heard a review of the products. Definitely something that needs to be reviewed in depth in my opinion, and likely compared to other higher end products such as Charles Tyrwhitt etc. I see they have suits for $300....now we just need someone on here who purchased one of those.

Received a notice that my shirts have shipped, that is two weeks since ordering which is not bad. They also sent a picture of the shirts which is a nice touch. More to come when they arrive, though, the are just plain white shirts so I don't know if there is anything to write home about.

If they fit you well, that will most certainly be something to write home about! I am personally getting tired of trying ready-mades that fit well in one area but not in another. Shoulders correct; neck too small. Neck just right; shoulders too wide and sleeves too short. Neck just right; shoulders too wide; sleeves fit well if under a jacket but baggy under the arm when jacket off.

Shirts came in today, and I a pretty happy with them. Most of my measurements were on, but next time I will make the biceps a bit wider as well as the yoke. That's why they offer discounted shirts for the first order, next time I will make the measurement changes and look for the opportunity for additional shirts. All in all it was about 3 weeks from order placement to shirts arriving at my door.
