What makes the Rolex aprox 2500 more than the Omega?

Both are great but the sea Dweller is timeless.

I have to agree with nonicks. Also, if picking up the PO, make to sure the bezel lines up with the markers on the face. When I was looking at them, the pearl/main triangle marker on the bezel was about a second off when it was at the 12 on the face of the watch. Once I noticed that, it drove me crazy and I ended up with something else.

The Rolex is iconic, instantly recognizable and a real classic in design. Yeah, you'll pay a premium for the name, but you'll get a very robust watch with an in-house movement and a watch that will last a lifetime.

That is really a hard choice. I guess I would go for the Rolex. But both are classic watches and I would be happy with either.
