Just finished w/ a week of shaving w/ a '67 Krona I got in a trade w/ pennhead; pretty darn good shaves! Mild, compared to my EJ, but effective still the same-with Feathers, of course. Interesting how a razor that is 40 yrs. old holds up to the new stuff; I can see how a collection starts! This will definitely be a part of my (new-found) rotation! Now, on to the Gillette Slim......

Got to agree with you . . . the Schick K doesn't get the respect it deserves!!
I, too, did a week with one a couple months ago. It was smooth and predictable. It can hold its own with a Super Speed any day!!
I did not add it to my regular rotation for the same reason I don't have a Super Speed there - the razor is just too mild for me. I needed four passes (without irritation, though) to do what I can do with my Aristocrat or adjustables in two.
I like the looks and balance. They were out-marketed by Gillette in their day, and still to this day are way off most of our radar screens.
