Omega Wifes hand writing?

Was in the study today at home and on the desk was a piece of paper with the word Omega in the wifes hand writting lying on the PC key board. I'm not one to snoop But I did give her a Christmas wish list that included several Omega brushes. Cant wait to see which one she plummed for :biggrin1:
Interesting to see how she came at the desission of which to buy.

hmmmm....I wouldn't call it snooping. She left the paper out for anyone to see.

Can't wait to see what you get! Which brushes are you pining for?

Maybe she's toying with you? What else is on your list? Leaving something out, that obvious, would get me to thinking. Then again, I love the art of the hunt at Christmas, so I may be reading into something that's not there. :001_smile Just saying......it's something I would do to throw someone off to a bigger present.

An Omega watch perhaps?
Maybe a package of Omega 3 fortified eggs?
A copy of the Omega Man movie?

It could be anything. Maybe she's just messing with you.
I know I would.

Either the watch or the brush, will make a fine present :) however, she might just be playing with you, and that is plain funny. I know some would, definitely.

Sorry to disapoint guys, it aint going to be a watch. I dont wear one out side of work. It was an idea from my Threapist after my Dad passed away.

It must be a brush as I been saying that I'd have at least one other boar in the den. All I said was, I like plexi glass / clear style handles, or translucent colour handles, dyed or au naturel hair, knot bigger than 22mm and nothing really above 110mm total height. However she has heard me talk with friends about Charlton Heston and some of his movies so it could be the Omega man on DVD.

We were talking about Soylent Green, a classic as far as I'm concerned and everyday in my line of work just too spooky not to have some truths.

Nice to hear that your wife is listening to you and probably going to follow up on one of your suggestions. Don't forget to get her a couple of pucks of MWF for Christmas. :biggrin1:

djh, now you metion it, (this is all for SWMBO As a off the wall surprise prezzie) I've got the Pink Lady Gillette in the post, a leather pouch in the post a small wooden box on the desk here as a presentation case, a pack of Derby blades but was stumped on the soap or cream to give. A puck of MWF may be on the cards today.

Well guys it turned out to be a rather nice Omega #34 boar brush. A nice heavy clear handle (solid) with a 24/55. It's handle is 49mm tall so it's pretty big in the hand. Washed it a few times this morning with normal hand soap and then some shave cream. Not such a funky boar smell but an allmost a clean animal smell if you know what I mean. Here's a post clean & bloom pic. I now have two Omega boars. One a budget 10777 and this one IMHO a quality Omega.

Congratulations, she's a beaut! Make sure to report with some feedback on how it breaks in and performs for you.

So far three shave in. I cleaned with hand soap then a few cream cleans. I've ued her with a new cream I had for Christmas the results weren't that good but adequet. I put that down to a new cream and brush combo. Today I went for Omega croap and the #34. A better lather was had but again I've not really had super latheres out of Omega. It was slick and dense though. I'm shaving in the bath at the moment becaue the lower spine problem that was first diagnosed as a trapped nerve has turned into a full blown 'L' spine partial or full slipped disc. The pain is eased by the heat of the bath. Anyhow the #34 handle is definatley big ans I dont recomend this for guys with smaller hands. It has a good heft to it. THe loft is excellent and it has a good scritch so far. She shows no sign of break in yet though. We'll see how it goes. So far I aint and cant complain. An excellent brush from Omega.
