Just used my Omega boar for the first time, is it usual for boar brushes to have a chemical smell at first? I've only ever used badger brushes in the past and have never had this smell before.
Wet dog? Surely you mean wet pig?
Love my Omega 31064. Smell completely goes away with use, softness of the tips gets better with a few uses, but is ready to use right out of the plastic sleeve it comes in.
48 and 49 are probably the smeliest Omegas for a couple of weeks, but they are great brushes. I consider the knot of 48 a bit big, 49 is perfect, IMHO.It's a 48, lathers tabac beautifully, good to know the foul smell does disappear. Thanks
