This is my favorite Boar Brush and I’m an Omega guy, the only Semogue I kept was the SOC.

My favorite brush is Omega 10075
He has a very convenient knot. Compact, quite dense. And it is well suited both for taking soap from a jar, and for whipping cream in a bowl and on the face.

I started off with those small boars and they just didn't work out well or hold enough later.

I switched to pro versions with larger knots and lofts and loved them.
