Sweet!
You're going to love the soap, it's fantastic.
Even if it doesn't smell as great as it used to, it still performs like it used to!

The only vintage soap I use and it is good, very easy to create a slick lather. Congrats on the score and once you use I'm sure you will be on the hunt for more.

I have over a dozen of these vin Old Spice soaps , they are outstanding and very cool to use knowing that years ago , they were in most corner drug stores and being used by many guys every day for their shaves.

Today I had my first shave with the old spice shaving soap I have to say one of the best shaving soaps I've used before I may or bloomed it a little long since had a shower and old puck I thought maybe it would help but the soap was kinda dissolved a bit the lather was slick and had a good cushion to it easy to lather with my striling boar brush

Really nice soap. It is by nature a bit soft and doesn't need much if any blooming. I tend to return unused lather to the mug as I did when that soap was current production and I find that if you are not careful it can become a bit soupy. When that happens I make sure to leave the cover off and not use it for a few days. ENJOY

I see on a certain auction site, one of these is up for £125.00, which is around 152 dollars, I think. Thats a expensive soap 😊

The last one I found on that popular auction site I paid $25.00 for a New Old Stock (NOS) mug with soap. I pulled the soap out, sealed it up in a zip lock bag and set it aside until I use up the last one and put the mug to other use. Admittedly I caught an unaware seller, but the buys are there if you look for them.

its a great soap im tempted to put it away and put one of my 15 pucks of Williams or arko in it to save this

Anyway of storing a puck I pulled it out of my mug today didn't wanna keep using it right now also wanted to get rid of some vdh luxury also didn't know if the os soap was still good

I have a few pucks of this, two of which are still sealed in their mugs so NOS. I also have one in an OS mug that's in regular rotation and fourth that's just a packaged refill. I honestly don't remember what they smelled like when they were fresh in the store 40-50 years ago but now, they smell less Old Spicey and a bit more soapy. Performance is still excellent. As I have so much Shulton OS aftershave and cologne, I periodically poke small holes in the puck that's in rotation (using a round toothpick) and splash a little of the aftershave into them. It re-scents the soap nicely and when loading a brush, the holes seal back up. I should probably buy a bottle of the new aftershave but it's quite a different scent to me. Not unpleasing but milder and more baby powdery. Old Spice soap simply has to be in an Old Spice mug for the true experience! I always use one of my 60's era Gillettes when I use it.
