Old Spice Burley

I remember members of my family wearing this in the '80s,I have recollections of it being a really top notch fragrance,but I cant recall it enough to make a similarity to anything available to buy now,is there anything on the market now that smells like Burley or close to it in anyones estimation? TIA

I remember members of my family wearing this in the '80s,

I remember having a bottle of Burley and a bottle of Lime. But all I remember was that I liked the lime better. Don't remember enough about the Burley to compare it to anything. Not much help, but thanks for the opportunity to reminisce.

I can't really think of anything modern off the top of my head that smells like Burley or Bounty. Maybe British Sterling or No.89 Floris which it tried to emulate, but that's kind of stretching it.

Burley was of course meant to smell like burley tobacco - a wonderful smell but now sadly 'politically incorrect' in these times - more's the pity.
