Old razor, can it be saved?

Thought I would post here since it seems to get more traffic.

Just checking to see if you guys think it can be saved?

I have talked to another member and it does not look good, but wante dto see if anyone else have any thoughts.

It could be polished up, and likely a serviceable edge put on it.
However, it does have a lot of hone wear.
What I would do, is have someone polish it up, to get rid of all the patina/rusting, then put it on display in a shadow box or other type of frame.
Since it is a family heirloom, a life of display is better suited for it.

After that, cruise the BST to find a good shaver, and a strop, with that swaty you already have, you could go years without needing to have it honed.
