Old Personna 74 blade commercial

I was looking up info on the Personna 74 blades and came across this commercial that I thought members might appreciate. Apparently this was a 1972 Superbowl commercial - I guess Superbowl commercials have come a long way -

BTW - I learned that all this time I've been pronouncing "Personna" wrong.

Great Commercial! First time I have seen a commercial where they use a double edge razor! Nice!

BTW- I guess since I speak Spanish, I can pronounce Personna Correctly. JEJEJE!.

But this begs the question, how were you pronouncing it?

I was pronouncing it as if it had only one 'n' as in persona. I understand what a double consonant does to the vowel preceding it, but to me it sounds silly the way it's said in the commercial.

BTW, I began searching that site and it has some other old razor and shaving commercials.

Thanks for the tip, I usually just search youtube, but this place is pretty nice, and you don't have to deal with the wasted time when someone butchers one.

Not to change the subject or anything, but the 74's shave great. They are also one of the longest lasting blades ever made.

Thanks for posting the link. I remember the Personna 74 ad, although I was not yet shaving when that ad came out. By the way, 74 is tungsten's atomic number.
